A Saga about Kings and their Candy

Social game maker King has trademarked the word Candy, and has started going after other app developers for using the word in the titles of their games, citing that it causes "brand confusion."
They are also in the process of trademarking the word Saga, and have gone after Stoic, the creators of The Banner Saga, stating that their viking epic also causes brand confusion with their casual games.
All this amongst a backdrop of King stealing another game years ago, which they have since removed.
Then we take a call about if all this litigation is a sign that the video game industry is maturing.

But, you can join the VOG Network group on Steam even after May 15th! Minecraft 360 has broken sales records on Xbox Live Arcade, but announcing that has shown there might have been some preferential treatment. We also talk a little bit about the game (impressions from the demo) and how it is different from the PC version. If you want to buy games on Steam, but don't want to use your credit or debit card, you now have an alternative...And neither side is too happy about it. The Xbox 360 is rumored to get Internet Explorer 9 with Kinect support. Information about the real money auction house in Diablo 3 has been released...And we talk about how much money Blizzard will take in from each successful sale. We don't take many calls because we were recording on Mother's Day, but one person called in just to call, so we talked about The Pirate Bay telling Anonymous to stop censoring other people.
