Vice President Meets With Game Industry, CES Gaming Hardware
- We begin by finally discussing the tragedy in Connecticut from last month, spurred on by the Vice President meeting with the video game industry to discuss what to do to prevent those incidents in the future. It's not as cut and dry as people want to believe.
- The Consumer Electronics Show was this past week, and there were a few gaming products shown, the first of which was the admission that there are Valve Steam Box prototypes.
- The Android platform saw some new consoles, led by Nvidia's "Project Shield" using the Tegra 4 processor.
- Microsoft showed off their IllumiRoom technology, combining the Kinect with a projector to turn your entire living room into the game screen.
- Then we take calls about Borderlands 2 and Steam gaming.
